I did this ^ cause I was bored. Cute right?
It’s blue because that was the colour of the socks I was wearing when I made it.
What a week! What a week! What a week!
Where do I start?
Well, of course! A shameless plug!
I just announced my only Dublin headliner this year in the National Concert Hall on September 20th. Please do come, if you’re so inclined.
Tickets, tickets! Get ya white hot tickets!
The National Concert Hall is beautiful and I remember going on a little school tour there when I was 5 or 6. Sitting up in the seats and staring down at the orchestra doing its thing. I never thought they’d let a ragamuffin with a guitar in but they have a few times.
This one will be special (obviously I’m going to say that, but hear me out). We’re going to do a mix of old songs — as requested by folks beforehand — and the new album!
If you’re coming and have a request, let me know!
Next thing’s next:
I took off on my flight to New York on Tuesday morning, dozed off into a deep sleep and then woke up as we landed.
”Amazing,” I said to myself, “I slept through the whole flight.”
I was a bit concerned/suspicious about my ability to sleep through the whole flight, so I clicked on the screen in front of me and it was still playing the middle of the road comedy I had selected… in fact, it was still on episode 1.
At first I thought we might have grounded in Shannon. However, upon gazing out the window and past the long strip of grass. I saw the DPD parcel warehouse and thought, this is very unmistakably Dublin Airport.
The crew and pilot didn’t really explain, but they did repeatedly tell us to stay in our seats. Which was fine with me. There didn’t appear to be anywhere to go other than the DPD Warehouse.
We did eventually get taken off the plane, and then told to wait some more with vouchers that worked nowhere, then we got back on another plane and by the time I landed in JFK at 7pm my sister had found out what happened. We’d hit a little flock of little pigeons! They had a worse flight than I did. RIP.
